How To Make Steamed Oysters on the Fire
- Start a fire and let it burn down to coals (super hot).
- Place the oysters directly on the hot embers or scatter them on a firepit grate.
- Cook until the oyster shells pop open.
- Remove the oysters from the heat with tongs (the shells will be HOT)!
